Welcome to the Department of Marine Science and Technology in the School of Earth and Mineral Sciences at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Akure, Nigeria.
The Department of Marine Science and Technology is located on the FUTA permanent site (about 18,000 students), overlooking Akure City in Ondo State, Nigeria.
Inclusive of Cooperating and Affiliate members, more than 20 Academic Staff teach and advise undergraduate students in the Marine science field of study. The collective research expertise and programs of this Department provide a broad diversity of knowledge in the field of Marine science which thereafter offers employment opportunities for students.
